# MacroVision 26 — Household purchasing-power scenario

The tool is an illustrative browser-side accounting calculator, not a forecast or causal model.

Inputs are monthly nominal currency amounts for before and after: wage, transfer, capital income, tax, debt service; and percentage change in the consumer price index.

Real purchasing power before = wage_before + transfer_before + capital_before - tax_before - debt_before.
Real purchasing power after = (wage_after + transfer_after + capital_after - tax_after - debt_after) / (1 + price_change / 100).
Break-even after-transfer = max(0, real_before * (1 + price_change / 100) - wage_after - capital_after + tax_after + debt_after).

No public budget constraint, tax incidence, distributional effects, household consumption basket changes, price endogeneity, interest-rate feedback, inflation expectation, or dynamic debt stock model. Negative disposable income is flagged. JSON export is local only. No household data is transmitted to server.
